The Guild Theatreworks will be presenting a reading of "Everyday Women" on Tuesday, November 20th, at the Main Branch of the Ocean County Library, Washington Street, Toms River at 6:30pm.
An original play by Mary Anderson, it uses the actual words of women throughout the history of these United States to create a production using music to reflect on the joys, hardships, and heroism of women who cope with marriage, motherhood, and careers throughout our country's days of exploration, revolution, slavery, war times, and peace.
The production is an historical retrospective of women's experiences told in their own voices. It spans from the arrival of the first American settlers to World War II.
